According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in August 2020, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 525 962 ?Wh of electricity, 36.719 mil. nm3 of natural gas, 315 301 tonnes of coal and 81 663 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 94.7% in gross national electricity consumption, while 95.8% of the total national consumption of coals were used for generation of electricity.
