Serbia: New higher electricity prices for households

At the request of the state-owned company Elektroprivreda Srbija (EPS), the Energy Agency agreed to a decision on a new higher electricity price for households.

The new average price of electricity for customers entitled to guaranteed supply at regulated prices (households and small consumers), determined on the basis of maximum approved income, is without taxes and fees and amounts to 7,867 dinars / kWh (0.067 EUR) and is higher of the current average price by 3, 4%.

The new price for guaranteed supply will start to apply from February 1, 2021.

Despite this increase, the price of electricity in Serbia is still significantly lower than the prices in the countries of the region and Europe.
